What is it about bridges that fascinates us?….especially looking at them from up above!
After 14 hours of straight flight from Dallas, Texas, USA to Seoul, Korea, it was already early in the morning when we finally got to open the plane’s window blind. Everyone was waking up by this time and others were already served an early breakfast.

As I opened my window’s blind, what greeted me was the beautiful views of Seoul and its surrounding areas. Its tall buildings are actually skyscrapers. As the plane was approaching Incheon International Airport from the mainland, we got an incredible view of the Incheon Bridge that really seemed a long bridge by the way it looked.

True enough, as I did the research, this bridge is the longest bridge in Korea at 13.29 mile or 21.39 km long. It ranks as the seventh longest bridge in the world per Wikipedia.
You could see that this bridge links the Business District of Songdo City and Incheon International Airport. What we were looking at the beginning of the bridge on the Songdo City side is just about 18 miles or 30 km. from Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
If you’re like me, next time you fly to a city with a view of a bridge from above, be sure to take breathtaking photos or videos.
I’ll will see this bridge on my way back to the USA for sure….and I can’t wait.
