November 13 was World Kindness Day. Although it’s past that date already doesn’t mean that it’s over for Kindness Day.
Everyday should be a Kindness Day.

Here are my top 10 easy acts of kindness:
- As kindness starts with me, I practice being kind to myself first. For example, when my body tells me it needs a rest, I just give in. It’s only me who can do this for myself.
- Being more aware and kinder to my family. There shouldn’t be rushing to judgment and conclusion. Giving each one the benefit of the doubt is always a great thing to practice.
- Donating gently used things and money to charities and fundraisers. As we get older, physical volunteerism sometimes is not possible. There are other ways to give back especially when the need arises.
- Petting our little chihuahua, Vic, behind his ears and treating him like a family. Our pets, our present one, Vic and those we’ve lost before him, have been parts of our family. They give unconditional love. Vic needs to shine this Christmas maybe with this Holiday Outfit.
- Paying for someone’s parking meter when you see it’s almost empty. It feels good to make someone feel good when they least expect it.
- Bringing extra bouquet of flowers at the gravestone of someone you don’t know, when you visit your loved ones at the cemetery. You never know if that grave hasn’t been visited for a long time.
- Praising and thanking someone unexpectedly for something someone did for you no matter how long ago it has been.
- Being generous with your compliments. Sincere compliments are always music to someone’s ears.
- Connecting with someone you haven’t heard from for a while….that is if you think they’ll be thrilled.
- Smile! It’s has a ripple effect! Always!
