When I started my “Beautiful as Life” website, I wanted this to be something one could come to for inspiration be it in health and wellness, cooking, food, travel, style, fun stuff, and many other things that would make us see the beauty in everything in this world….in ourselves, in our relationships with others as well as our surroundings.
With what has been happening recently with the global pandemic, it is a challenge for me and I know for a lot of people too to talk about being positive when we know that there are so many people who lost loved ones, are suffering with the disease, are recovering from the sickness, as well as those affected by the economic crash.
These are heartbreaking circumstances any way one looks at them.
No one knows exactly when this pandemic will end and go away for good.
No one knows how soon we will recover.
Those are big concerns and questions that we don’t have answers for something unprecedented and caught the whole world off guard.
And with these, we are overwhelmed with mixed emotions and unanswered questions.
As with families around the world, my family is also on lockdown and keeping safe and trying our best to stay healthy.
Being retired from the healthcare industry, I work at home as a writer, author, book strategist and as a lifestyle blogger. I always find things to do whether it’s working around the house or writing a book, or a blog or learning/relearning some courses I have, or even try my hand on little gardening and so much more.
With the lockdown and social distancing, I don’t have to go to social functions for a while….for a long while.
I have more time at home for more things to do. Boredom is not really on my plate.
So with the current situation we are in right now, I want to share some inspirational stories, words of wisdom and comfort, hope and faith, potentials and possibilities.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the families that have lost loved ones, those that are battling this disease, those who have recovered, all the frontliners, and those that are impacted by the economy.
God bless us all.
