Never postpone happiness and fun….good clean fun! And here’s why! My 48th year college reunion!
A year ago around this time, my classmates and batch mates from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, held our 48th year class reunion for BSMT(Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology) class of 1971.
Reunions usually happen on the 25th or 50th year, especially with a group so diverse and whose members are scattered all over the world. Somehow our group decided to have a pre-reunion for our 50th which we planned to have in Manila, Philippines on the early part of 2021.
In hindsight, it was a great idea to have it. With what happened with this pandemic, everything came to a halt.
Had we not have it, we would never know when would the reunion be materialized as everything now is uncertain.
48 was a good number as it turned out. We are able to connect and reconnect with classmates and batch mates just on time. We could have waited until our 50th. I’m glad we did what we did.
So the lesson is to never postpone happiness and good times….good clean fun with the people you care about.
